EMT- SPRING 2025 BLENDED COURSE - EMT-25-02

Registration for the SPRING 2025 EMT BLENDED COURSE- EMT 25-02. The Campus location is Pryor Campus (in the RSU building) 2155 OK-69A, Pryor, OK 74361 Rm 208,

This course registration fee will hold you a spot in the upcoming spring 2025 Blended EMT class. (For all pre-registered students, the registration and processing fee will be added to your tuition and is non-refundable.)

The Blended course is $1,575.00 plus the registration fee (Total: $1,600). There is an additional fee for online programming that is not associated with the Traditional course.

Orientation will be scheduled on January 14th the week before class starts. Class begins on Jan 21st. The class times and days are from 6:00pm to 10pm on Tuesday & Thursday nights. Full payment will be expected, or a payment plan will be required with a class deposit paid the evening of orientation. (minimum deposit of $500.00)

 

The Blended format is designed to complete the major portion of the didactic/book work component at home. Students should have the freedom and discipline to study a minimum of 8 hours each week to be successful in passing the National exam. The instructor can and will offer periodic Zoom/Google Meet classes during the course. Blended students will be required to attend 48 hours of in-person skills lab scheduled throughout the semester. There will be required lab days prescheduled on 3 specific Saturdays lasting 8 hours per lab and on some weekday evenings for 4 hours. Labs cannot be missed. Each student will have an opportunity to join another active EMT course during a weekday evening class to complete those required lab hours.

All EMT course students will be required to complete five 12-hour ambulance clinicals with an OKEMSTA contracted EMS service. These hours are in addition to the 48 lab hours.

Blended and traditional students are required to attend a NREMT Skills day in May. The course schedule expectations & lab requirements will be laid out the night of orientation.

This course registration fee will hold you a spot in the upcoming spring 2025 Traditional EMT class. (For all pre-registered students, the registration and processing fee will be added to your tuition and is non-refundable.)

The Traditional course is $1,475.00 plus the registration fee (Total: $1,500).

Orientation will be scheduled on January 16th the week before class starts. Class begins on Jan 21st. The class times and days are from 6:00pm to 10pm on Tuesday & Thursday nights. Full payment will be expected, or a payment plan will be required with a class deposit paid the evening of orientation. (minimum deposit of $400.00)

The Traditional format is an in-person instructor led course with occasional Zoom/Google Meet classes from home. Students will be scheduled to attend 2 classes during the week whether the instructor offers an online (Zoom/Google Meet) or an on-campus class. All online classes will be at the instructor’s discretion (with student feedback). Students may be required to attend a skills lab on a Saturday for additional training. We have 3 Saturdays set up throughout the semester that will include the blended students. The Saturday classes are scheduled to last 8 hours per lab. Traditional students are not required but highly encouraged to attend these labs.
